We have some community tools in the studio, but for multi-week classes we ask that you bring your own tools with you. You will have a shelf assigned to you where you can store them between classes, or you can take them home each week. For our one-time and date-night classes, all tools are provided.

We provide aprons for all of our students, and if you fall in love with yours we do offer them for sale as well.

With the purchase of a class session, you are signing up to be at all sessions. If you will need to miss a session, please try and let the instructor know as soon as possible. We will do our best to offer you a chance to “make up” the time you missed, but it is not guaranteed with purchase and is subject to space available in other classes running.

For our multi-week class, the class purchase comes with access to 25lbs of clay per student. If you need more clay than that, you may purchase it through the studio. For our continuing students, you are allowed to “roll-over” clay from your last session to use in addition to the 25lbs allotted to you, so long as you book concurrent classes (ie. a september-october class and then a november-december class).

For the safety of the space and of everyone’s pieces, you may only use clay provided by the studio.
Commercial underglazes that are safe to fire to Cone 6 may be brought in, but require written approval by the studio beforehand.

Ceramics is a wonderful art form, but one that comes with a lot of uncertainty. While our staff are highly trained and do their best to make sure every pot makes it safely through firing, sometimes accidents happen or others’ pieces can end up damaging your own.
In the event that your piece is damaged in the kiln, we are happy to give you an equivalent amount of extra clay to work with—on us, in your current or next class session.

Our scheduled classes take priority, but we are open to hosting private events or corporate classes.
If you would like to book out an entire one-night class for a private group event, please send us a message with the date and number of people you are hoping to have in your group.
If you would like to book a private event on a night that we do not have a class scheduled, please send us a message with the date and number of people you have, as well as the type of event you are looking for. We are also happy to suggest events based on the number of participants :)
